Abstract
This thesis is intended to make a study of the similarities and differences between tea and coffee cultures from the aspect of cultural cognition. It takes tea and coffee as an example to illustrate that they carried with them some cultural connotation. For the purpose of making it clear that a good knowledge of the differences, tea and coffee enhance the mutual understanding and spread of the two cultures. This paper also focuses on learning the way the western countries promoted their coffee culture so that we can make more widespread our Chinese tea culture in the world.
