Abstract

Classroom questioning is a process of teachers who stimulate students' thinking and guide their students to respond to questions in the classroom. It is a kind of interactive process that allows students to take part in the learning process, and then come to the thinking of the answer as the goal. Questioning is one of the most frequently used strategies in classroom teaching, and it is also one of the most influential teaching methods. It is not only a method, but also an art. As one of the most common forms of discourse in English class, the question and answer have a great effect on students' communication in English.

Therefore, this article starts from the type and principle of questioning, analyzes the different types of questions and the principles that should be followed, and objectively describe the meaning of questioning. Then, according to the actual analysis of the problems in current classroom questioning, I put forward the corresponding strategy to solve these issues. Finally, I give some suggestions on how to improve the teacher's questioning skills and make a conclusion, so as to include the theme and deepen the readers' understanding of this article.
