Abstract
Since the 1970s, the Skopos Theory of translation proposed in Germany has been widely applied to various fields of translation and has achieved great effects. Meanwhile, with the globalization and the rapid development of the film market. The subtitle translation of film has gradually drawn people's attention, the translators are trying their best to make the audience understand the subtitles with cultural characteristics. In this paper, the author, in the case of the Disney movie Zootopia, studies the subtitle translation from the perspective of Skopos Theory, hoping to improve the level of subtitle translation of films and attract more scholars to pay more attention to it, so that people can achieve better international cultural transmission and communication.
