Abstract: This study investigates the definition of affect in pedagogy and psychology as well as the situation of affective teaching at home and abroad. Based on the analysis of curriculum standard and reform of textbook, this study attempts to offer teaching suggestion from the aspects of teachers’ quality, classroom organization, teaching environment and teaching assessment to achieve affective target more deeply. It aims to keep students’ interest and motivation to learn English so that they can broaden their international horizon and achieve all round development.
