Abstract: Leading-in, as an important part of English teaching class, is of great importance both to the teacher and the student. An excellent leading-in can connect the new knowledge to the old one, indicate the climax and ending part of the teaching procedure, and guide the thinking directions of the whole class. The research on the teaching methods and language styles of leading-in language has long been the hot topic in the world of academy. It is extremely vital to learn more about the comparison of leading-in between English and Chinese classes, which is a significant part of studying leading-in language. There exists lots of difference between the leading-in in English and Chinese classes, not only on the principles and methods, but also on the language features and styles. Comparing the leading-in language between English and Chinese classes, this article aims to provide some comparatively significant references to the teachers.
