摘要:随着我国会展业的蓬勃发展,会展型酒店作为一种新的酒店形式进入了会展市场,促进了第三产业的发展。会展型酒店接待来自不同国家、区域的客人,成功的会展接待不仅使他们会成为酒店的忠诚顾客,而且会向其他顾客传播酒店良好的口碑;同时,酒店接待重要国际、国内会展,必然会成为世界新闻媒体关注的焦点,媒体在报道会展的同时也间接地宣传了酒店,从而极大地提高了酒店的知名度,同时酒店通过接待会展灵活填补淡季时期。因此,在国内酒店业竞争激烈、盈利水平较低的情况下,越来越多的中国酒店经营者已经认识到会展业务给酒店带来的经济价值和综合效益。本文通过对广东会展型酒店发展现状的分析,探讨对广东会展型酒店的未来发展提出有现实意义的对策,进而促进酒店业的健康快速发展。

Abstract:With the booming development of the exhibition economy, the convention hotels, as a new hotel style, march into the exhibition market and become an excitant of the Tertiary Industry. The emergence of the exhibition economy provides hotels so stable customer flow volume that directly drives the rapid expansion of hotels. The convention hotels receive customers from different countries and regions and the successful conference held in the hotels has not only made them become loyal customers but also made them to spread the good reputation to other customers; meanwhile, both international and domestic important conferences are also received in the hotels and this certainly arouses great attention of the news media around the world who disseminate the hotels by an indirect way so as to improve the popularity of the hotels and flexibly make distribution to the off-seasons. Therefore, under the circumstance of fierce competition among domestic hotels and the low profit, more and more hotel operators in China has already realize that conference services will bring hotels economy value and comprehensive benefits. This dissertation aims to analyze the development status of Guangdong convention hotels and try to put forward some practical strategies on their future so as to promote the healthy development of hotel industry.

   会展型酒店是指以接待会议,展览,展销为主要业务的酒店。会展型酒店与通常概念上的酒店有两个区别:一是会展型酒店的特征;二是会展客人的需求特点。关于会展型酒店的特征,有以下四个方面:一是销售形式不同于传统的酒店,它是综合性销售,不但有客房、餐饮,还有会展的设施、会展的设备,是会展相关的一些销售。二是服务的对象不同。除了服务中面对每一位参会个体之外,还要面对会展的组织者。和组织者的沟通是非常重要的环节。三是服务部门的设置不同。我们在实际中要针对专业性较强的会展实施不同的服务模式,包括配置相应的会展设备设施,以保证为会展提供圆满的服务。四是酒店会展功能间的配备。功能间要尽量准备得充足一些。我们经常发现一些客人不喜欢在宴会厅开会,特别是外宾。酒店应具有专门的功能间,以满足客人的特别需求。再就是宴会的配置,包括餐饮的独特性等,这是会展酒店应该具备的特点,和其他酒店要有所区分。
