摘要：本文首先对国外石油企业发展历史，投资规模特点等的演变进行概括说明。然后通过对国外的三大石油巨头：埃克森美孚、雪佛龙以及道达尔的对外投资特点进行了分析，在总结各公司对外投资的特点的基础上，提出国外石油企业的几个重要的投资发展的特点，并加以说明。
最后将国内三年大石油公司与国外石油公司投资情况进行比较分析，得出国内石油公司与世界大型跨国石油企业相比存在的不足，并提出国外石油企业对外投资对我国石油企业的启示。

ABSTRACT：In this paper, through the analysis of the characteristics of foreign oil companies. The first is the history of the development of foreign oil companies, investment scale features such as an overview of the evolution. 本文第一章是对国外石油企业对外投资的背景，现状进行阐述。引出国内石油企业对外投资中存在不足之处，提出问题并说明本文研究的意义所在。
第三章主要是对国外石油企业的的特点分析。首先是对国外石油企业发展历史，投资规模特点等的演变进行概括说明。并通过对国外的三大石油巨头：埃克森美孚、雪佛龙以及道达尔对外投资的特点分析，总结各公司对外投资的特点，从而提出国外石油企业的几个重要的投资发展的特点，对这几个特点进行说明。
在第四章中会对国内主要的石油企业：中石油、中石化和中海油分别进行简要的分析再将国内外石油企业的投资特点进行比较分析，得出我果石油企业对外投资中存在的不足。得出国外石油企业对我国跨国投资的启示。
