摘要：在经济全球化和世界经济一体化的大背景下，国际间资本流通的数量和频率呈现出日益增长的趋势。在全球经济的大环境下，外商直接投资对于推动一个地区或者国家经济发展起到了越来越显著的作用。作为中国最年轻的直辖市，外商直接投资也是外商在渝投资的投资方式之一，外商直接投资促进了重庆经济平稳、持续和健康的发展。所以研究外商直接投资对重庆经济发展的影响是尤为必要的。
本文首先阐述了关于外商直接投资的相关理论以及国内外研究成果，介绍了外商直接投资与经济发展之间的关联性。并且以重庆市相关统计数据为依托，详细阐述了自改革开放以来重庆利用外资的基本情况，进而对外商直接投资和重庆经济发展两者之间的关系进行实证分析，以求有据可循。
在研究重庆利用外资的基本情况中，本文主要从资本来源、外资规模、产业结构、投资方式等方面进行重庆外商直接投资现状的分析。在研究外商直接投资对重庆经济发展的影响作用时，本文则主要从经济增长、人口就业、对外贸易等不同方面入手来对两者的联系进行证分析。
最后，文章根据重庆外商直接投资的现状以及发展存在的问题提出相应的对策和建议。

At the same time.FDI also plays an important role in the process of promoting the economic development in a region or nation. As the youngest municipality in China, FDI is one of the basic means of utilizing foreign investment in Chongqing. So it’s necessary to research the impact of foreign direct investment on FDI.

At the basic of relevant statistical data of Chongqing city: Then state the basic situation of utilizing foreign investment. I will do a empirical analysis about the relationship between FDI and economic development at next step.
