摘要:在当今经济全球化的背景下，我国国民经济的发展在很大程度上得益于沿海城市、港口城市，港口经济作为港口的主要特征对国民经济的发展尤为重要。随着国际贸易活动频繁，货运量高速增长，港口地位日益提高，港口经济逐渐发展壮大，有效地带动了腹地经济的发展和对外开放，决定着我国经济发展的地带性格局。港口经济已成为城市区域经济发展的重要增长点，有益于地区产业结构的优化升级和增长方式的转变，是带动区域经济发展的核心战略资源。
本文从港口经济对城市经济发展的影响作为研究对象，分析了港口经济与城市经济发展的理论基础，阐述了港口经济对城市经济的影响机理。在此理论基础上，结合连云港实地情况，分析了连云港港口对连云港城市经济发展的影响，然后通过SWOT法对连云港港口的发展条件进行透彻分析，指出其发展港口的有利条件和不利条件，进而提出促进港口经济发展的政策性建议，充分发挥港口经济对城市经济的影响作用，促进港城一体化协调发展，以利于连云港十二五规划纲要目标的顺利实现。

Abstract:In today's economic globalization background, the development of the national economy to a large extent thanks to coastal cities, port city, port economy as the main characteristics of the port economy is particularly important to the development of national economy.As the international trade activity is frequent, freight volume growth, increasing port status, the port economy development gradually, effectively promote the development of the hinterland economy and opening to the outside world, determine the zonal pattern of economic development in China.Port economy important growth point of the regional economic development has become a city, are beneficial to the optimization and upgrading of industrial structure and change the way of growth, strategic resource is the core of driving regional economic development.
In this paper,from the port economy's influence on the city's economic development as the research object, analyzed the port economy and the theoretical basis for the development of urban economy, this paper expounds the mechanism of port economic impact on urban economy. Based on the theory, combined with the field situation Lianyungang, Lianyungang port of Lianyungang city economic development were analyzed, and then through the SWOT method thorough analysis on the development of Lianyungang port conditions, points out its developing port's advantages and disadvantages, and finally put forward policy Suggestions to promote the development of port economy, fully give play to the role of port economic impact on urban economy, to promote coordinated development of harbour city integration, to facilitate the smooth realization of Lianyungang 12th five-year plan outline goals.
