摘要： 施耐庵所著的《水浒传》作为中国古代的四大名著，可见《水浒传》的地位及文学价值，而且，自《水浒传》问世以后，人们对宋江的评价一直褒贬不一。宋江作为《水浒传》中的领军人物，是《水浒传》中最复杂的人物形象，是阅读和研究这部小说当之无愧的第一人物。那么，宋江到底是一个什么样的人物呢？是一个叛徒，是一个义士，是个强盗，还是一个忠臣，本文就是围绕宋江上梁山之前的曲折过程以及上梁山之后的起义生活，再到后来率领梁山众多兄弟接受朝廷的招安。通过这些点点滴滴的事情可以看出宋江究竟是一个何样的人物。

《水浒传》是描写北宋一次农民起义的作品。而宋江作为作品中的主人公，也是小说中最丰满、最复杂、最具有艺术魅力的一个人物，对于宋江这个人物形象，有褒的，有贬的，众说纷纭。我想作者施耐庵也一定看到了他的矛盾性和多重性，但他却把这个有着多重性且矛盾重重的人物写下来，让读者自己去读去说去评，未尝不是一种高明。 施耐庵塑造的宋江是一个多重性格的人物。但他的一生中，我们会时常看到他身上的矛盾性，施耐庵抓住这一系列的矛盾来刻画宋江性格的多重性。下面我们从几个不同的方面来分析宋江这个人物形象。
