摘要：新课改背景下，国内语文教育呈现出一派争鸣叠起、理念蜕变的活跃的学术景观。其中苏教版高中语文在作文教学上的改革备受关注。其吸收了众多全新的教学教育理念，勇于突破创新，在体系编排上做出了历史性的变革发展，提倡学生在写作过程中进行独立思考，尊重学生自由表达，把人作为教学的出发点和归宿，体现了一种普遍的人类的自我关怀，获得了一定的积极效果。
本论文就苏教版高中必修五的作文教材，研究了其写作教学设计的特点，阐述了写作教学研究的目的和意义及其研究现状和研究方法。在此基础上，提出新课程背景下作文教学的目标和应遵循的原则，并通过自身两个月的实习教学，深入了解一线教师落实新教材写作教学的有关情况，并开展访谈调查，总结实践教学中所取得的成绩，指出其尚未完善的部分，并提出其有待研究的内容的方向。探讨了其中存在的得益与缺失，对教材设计和教学实施作出了一些探索性思考，给出自己的一番观点和建议。探讨这一课题的目的旨在指导教学实践，使作文教学的改革真正落到实处。

作文是语文中一种具有高度综合性、创造性的语言活动，其重要性和基础性是其他学科其他技能无法相比的。作文的本质就是学生在教师的指导下利用已有的生活素材所进行的深入思考和集中的书面表达，作文教学是语文教学中的重要环节。素质教育也好，课改也好，最直接、最见效、最具体、最具有讨论性的应是作文。它是高度综合化的精神活动，是生活力和创造力的集中体现和语文能力的综合反映。具备良好的基本写作能力和素质越来越成为现代学生的迫切需要。
