[摘要] 霍达的《穆斯林的葬礼》将宗教与现实、传统文化与现代文化、文化与人性交织在一起，是一部集中体现了人生悲剧的小说，在这部小说里，回族女作家霍达将回族几百年的历史和中华民族的几次大浩劫，融汇进“玉器梁”一家三代人命运之中，作品通过梁家的兴盛衰败，刻画出人物不屈抗争的灵魂。本文主要解读特定历史与社会环境中的人物形象，试图研究他们在回族文化和汉族文化、传统文化和现代文化、宗教和现实的冲突中与命运相抗争的人生悲剧。

《穆斯林的葬礼》中“人、人性”以及每一个人物的悲剧性构成了是贯穿始终的主体。这部作品中，“五.四”运动，中华民族的两次浩劫，虔诚的伊斯兰教，残酷的现实，爱情与理性交错纠缠的情感，都交织在这些人的命运里。在传统文化与现代文化，汉族文化与回族文化，宗教与现实的冲突中，作品中的三代人用自己的方式与未知的命运进行了不屈的抗争，与时代的悲剧相呼应，在爱与恨中，生与死中等等问题中做出了各不相同的反应，体现出鲜明独特的人格，在命运的沉浮中，他们竭力地、全力地做着抗争，即便是失败，即便遍体鳞伤也在所不惜。这些人物身上，无一例外，都蕴含着悲剧性。
