[摘要]本文选择以宋江的忠义观为题进行探讨，首先对宋江这一形象的“忠”与“义”进行了分析；其次，在系统辩证分析宋江形象的忠义观的基础上，结合作品，继续探究宋江忠义观产生的根源问题，重点分析了传统的儒家思想和江湖侠义思想对宋江的影响。

宋江是《水浒传》中的中心人物，而且宋江的几个绰号也将其性格和形象凝练地表现出来，便于我们进一步深入理解宋江这个人物。郭英德说:“宋江的绰号也显示了他性格构成的复杂性:‘及时雨’，说的是他仗义疏财，济弱扶贫，就像天上下的及时雨一般，能救万物；‘呼群保义’，说的是他有号召力和组织能力，能够把天下的英雄豪杰凝聚成一个坚强的集体；‘孝义黑三郎’，则说的是他在心底里又想烙守传统的伦理道德，做一个循规蹈矩的忠臣孝子。”围绕着宋江三个绰号的阐释大多不出于此，三个绰号背后有着不同的内涵，共同反映了宋江这个人物想象复杂的性格特征，使这样一个忠义形象更加生动传神。
