摘要:随着科技的不断发展，内容、画面更加丰富多彩的虚拟游戏在不断的盛行，儿童传统游戏逐渐失去了自己应有的地位。因此本文以常州地区儿童传统游戏为例进行调查与分析。本文选取了几个常州地区比较有特色的儿童传统游戏进行粗略的介绍；将常州地区儿童传统游戏与儿童现代游戏在游戏材料上、游戏背景上、游戏环境上三个方面进行比较，发现传统游戏有不少的优胜之处，可以使儿童充分发挥自己的想象力、创造力和动手能力，在游戏中锻炼自己的思考能力和产生对大自然与生命的热爱之情；并对儿童传统游戏中蕴含的民族文化、体育精神、德育精神做一定的阐述；通过调查发现在学校和家长的协助下常州儿童传统游戏正在不断的传承与发展下去，孩子们不仅能在传统游戏中能体会到做游戏的乐趣，更能在大自然中找回虚拟游戏中缺失的童趣，并在和同伴玩耍中培养孩子们的团队合作精神、谦让等优良品质。
