[摘要]：《红楼梦》是文学历史上的瑰宝，她的迷离色彩，真知灼见，晦隐之语，都悬吊着所有读者的心弦。相比较而言《金粉世家》在文学价值上并未显得如同《红楼梦》一样的宝贵价值，但就在那样的时代的而言，可谓是民国时期的《红楼梦》并不为过。近年来，关于张恨水的研究越来越多，他的作品也被很多学者研究。张恨水的作品大多被拍成影视作品，随着这一阵热潮，《金粉世家》颇受好评。不少学者发现《金粉世家》与《红楼梦》之间相似度颇高，于是有人开始将这两部作品进行比较，每个学者研究的方向不同，大致可分为语言优劣、悲剧意识、人物形象、表现手法等方向。张恨水先生年少时本就是专爱“风流才子高人隐士”的行为，《金粉世家》在这“风流才子高人隐士”的基础上却已摆脱了才子佳人的悲欢离合模式。本文试从两部作品的悲剧主题，人物形象，精神实质三个方面浅显阐述两部作品的异同，从中体现两部作品的精神诉求和作者内心的悲欢离合。
