摘要：关于传统合唱色调和平衡的研究已有许多文献出版，他们分别从气息力量、声音位置、艺术表现等层面展开讨论，但流行合唱作为新兴的合唱类型在这方面的研究则是薄弱的，虽然在实践中已有些合唱团进行了可贵的尝试，但在理论探讨层面还比较欠缺。笔者通过与传统合唱的对比研究总结流行合唱在声音色调与平衡方面的现实的情况，通过作品举例和分析，志在从理论上提升这些实践者的科学依据，对此问题的提出虽属生僻领域但目的是将人实践与理论紧密结合。

随着流行音乐的蓬勃发展，人们对于音乐的追求也越来越多元化，就流行音乐而言有RAP音乐、节奏布鲁斯音乐、摇滚乐、电子乐等。而合唱音乐的发展较之流行乐的发展显得有些缓慢与滞后，流行合唱的发展则更不及。它主要体现在没有很好很多的流行合唱曲以及专业的流行合唱团上，无论是国外还是国内流行合唱的发展都还很年轻，人们对于他的认知程度还很浅。我想在这样一个百花齐放在的年代，我们讲究的是艺术的多样性与专业性。笔者试想通过对流行合唱的研究能更好的概括总结下、现在流行合唱的一个发展状况及理论基础。
