摘要：在中国音乐文化历史发展的长河中，笙这一古老的簧管吹奏乐器经历了多次形制的变革。本文旨在通过对历史上锁出现过并具有代表性的笙类乐器的变革分析整理归类，结合对其形制变革的剖析，探讨其对于当代笙的演奏技法以及笙曲创作所产生的深远影响。乐器的发展离不开演奏技法和笙曲创的发展，而演奏技法和笙曲创作的发展更需要乐器的改良完善。从笙的形制的起起伏伏可以看出其在各个时期所处于的历史地位，也为我们当代笙的改革提供了一定的参考。在演奏手法甚至音位排列上的一脉相承，也让人感到其历史传承的顽强性，更能体现出笙形制音位设计的高度理性和实践作用。新中国成立后，各种形制的改良笙层出不穷。面对品种繁多的改良笙以及近现代刚出现的键笙，笔者认为我们要有一定的科学性，选择性，实用性。我们应当保留传统，在传承经典的基础上勇于创新，为笙的演奏技法及笙曲创作探索出一条长久的道路…
