摘要：20世纪20年代末，佛教改革家太虚大师顺应时代的需要提出了“人间佛教”的理念，自太虚之后，又经过印顺、赵朴初以及星云等人的继承和弘扬，形成了其以人为本、重视现世人生、做入世事业、适应现代社会、建设人间净土、完成佛教人间化的核心理念，在人们社会生活的各个领域和构建社会主义和谐社会中发挥着重要的作用，已获得党和国家以及人民的重视。

Abstract: The late 1920s, buddhist reformer Master Tai times the need to propose the concept of "Humanistic Buddhism"， After Void ，Yin Shun、 Zhao Puchu and nebulae people inherit and carry forward.Then ,they form its people-oriented, attention to earthly life, to do accession to the WTO career, to adapt to modern society, building a pure land on earth, to complete the core concept of the Buddhist world. Now buddhist play an important role in people's social life and a harmonious socialist society,，Party and the country as well as the attention of the people pay more attention to them.

在理论意义上，佛教是我国传统文化的重要组成部分，人间佛教是在继承传统佛教的优良传统的基础上进行创新的部分，因此其丰富和发展了我国的传统文化；另一方面，宗教社会学作为一门年轻的社会科学，主要关注宗教实践、行为与态度的社会性质与社会作用，人间佛教的理论创新和实践经验有助于丰富和发展宗教社会学。
在实践意义上，首先，人间佛教继承了传统佛教，又超越了宗派佛教的理念，融合传统与现代的佛法诠释，针对现世世界中各类人群提供契理契机的解脱烦恼法门，使人们获得自在解脱，对普度众生和提高国民幸福指数有重要意义；另外，通过探讨人间佛教近二十多年的实践活动可以发现人间佛教对构建社会主义和谐社会发挥了重要作用，因此党和政府应重视起人间佛教并对人间佛教加以积极的引导，从而推动全面建设小康社会和构建社会主义和谐社会的进程。
