摘要:《西游记》是中国古典文学史上一部浪漫主义的杰作，全书以奇幻的笔墨描述了唐僧师徒四人西天取经的故事。书中详细描绘了师徒四人西天取经路上所经历种种磨难经历，为读者构建了一个神奇的妖魔世界。书中，众妖魔的性格鲜明，有着“妖同人性“的特征，幻化了一个现实的社会。本文试通过明代社会思潮及现实社会状况分析妖魔形象产生的思想土壤；通过对妖魔形象特征的分析，挖掘出其形象特征所蕴含的深刻寓意。

中国古典四大名著之一《西游记》中唐僧师徒经过了九九八十一难的考验最终取得了真经弘扬了佛法。书中师徒四人历经的磨难是构成文本最精彩的部分。而在这些磨难中与唐僧师徒斗智斗勇的另一部分主角便是制造各种障碍的妖魔鬼怪。他们在书中所展示的各种性格品质与孙悟空等不相上下。本文试从妖魔形象产生的背景及其表现特征简要分析《西游记》中的妖魔形象，以及由此所引发的人性思考，以便更好地理解文本。
