Abstract:Vampires have been the popular figures appearing in Gothic fiction since 18th century. In recent decades, however, they are no longer the ugly, mindless and disgusting ones but are attractive, emotional and humane that greatly different from their predecessors. Anne Rice is one of the representative novelists on vampire topic. Interview with the Vampire, published in 1976, was written by her and regarded by many scholars as a representative vampire novel in the last several decades. In this novel, the writer exhibits an unprecedented vampire world. Anne Rice implies homosexuality on the love among the main vampire characters. At present, there are many works with significance on the vampire topic abroad but few at home.
This dissertation firstly analyzes the relations of the archetype of vampires, the vampires in Interview with the Vampire and the vulnerable group of homosexuals in the mainstream society. Then it equals the vampires in Interview with the Vampire to the gays in the real world in four aspects and explains them in details. In the end, it draws a conclusion that the vampires are actually a vulnerable group of homosexuals.

摘要:自十八世纪以来,吸血鬼一直是哥特小说中的流行形象。然而,在最近几十年里,吸血鬼已不再是丑陋、无思维能力和令人厌恶的形象,而是外表吸引、有感情和有人性的。这跟以前的吸血鬼形象大相庭径。安妮·莱斯是以吸血鬼为主题的其中一位具有代表性的作家。《夜访吸血鬼》出版于1976年,由莱斯所著并被许多学者看作过去几十年来具有代表性的吸血鬼小说。在这本小说中,作者展示了一个前所未有的吸血鬼世界。安妮·莱斯以这其中几个吸血鬼角色的爱情隐喻同性恋恋情。目前,在国外有很多关于吸血鬼主题的具有重要意义的研究成果,国内的则不多。
本论文首先分析了吸血鬼原型、《夜访吸血鬼》中的吸血鬼和主流社会中的同性恋这一弱势群体之间的关系。然后在四个方面把《夜访吸血鬼》中的吸血鬼等同于现实世界中的同性恋者并对此进行详细解释。最后,本论文得出吸血鬼其实是一个同性恋弱势群体。
