Abstract:In recent years, reading has become more and more important in language teaching and testing. Therefore, it is important for senior school students’ to command a certain high English reading ability. This requires that senior school teachers put importance on teaching effective reading methods and the students pay attention to learning some useful methods. With the hope of getting this point, this research paper sets a research on how to improve school students’ English reading ability mainly.

中文摘要:近几年来，阅读在语言学习和教学中变得越来越重要。因此，培养高中学生较高的英语阅读能力无疑是非常重要。这就要求老师利用有效的教学方法和学生掌握一些有用的阅读技巧和方法以提高英语阅读能力。本论文在如何提高高中生的英语阅读能力方面做了一点研究，希望它能对高中老师和学生有一定的帮助。
