Abstract:English listening plays a crucial part in students’ English learning, even their future career. Some of students rely too much on teachers, and ignore the importance of listening autonomous learning, especially the non-English major students. Many researches are carried out on listening learning strategies of autonomous learning, but the researches on non-English majors in independent college are few. Therefore, this dissertation takes a survey on listening learning strategies of autonomous learning of non-English major in independent college.
In the survey, the subjects, enrolled in Zengcheng college of South China Normal University, are one hundred and twenty students in Grade1(2009)and one hundred and twenty students Grade 3(2007). All of them are equally from department of Economic, Tourism and Computer. The content of questionnaire is English listening learning strategies, which contains cognitive strategies, metacognitive strategies, affective strategies and communication strategies. The aim of the questionnaire is to make a survey on their use frequency of each part. The results of questionnaire show that problems of the use of listening autonomous learning strategies exist in the non-English major students in independent college. Most of them seldom use metacognitive strategies, while they are relatively good at using communicative strategies.

摘要:英语听力在学生的英语学习,甚至未来事业占据重要的地位。但是,许多学生过分依赖老师,忽略了自主学习的重要性,这种现象在非英语专业中尤为严重。很多学者研究听力自主学习策略,但是大多数的研究对象存在局限性,对独立学院非英语专业得研究屈指可数。因此,这篇论文主要研究独立学院非英语专业听力自主学习策略。
在调查中,抽取XX学院120个大一学生(2009级)和120个大三学生(2007级)。他们分别来自经济系,旅游管理系和计算机系。问卷的内容是依据自主学习策略中的认知策略、元认知策略、情感策略和交际策略来组成。问卷旨在调查学生对听力自主学习策略得使用情况。调查结果标明,学生在使用听力学习自主策略时存在许多问题。他们使用元认知策略的频率不高,而能比较好地运用交际策略。
