Abstract: On the basis of the first-hand materials collected from a questionnaire and the class observation, the author has made an effort to explore and analyze the problems students meet during the interpreting class, and come up with the view that the pre-interpreting preparation (PIP) is necessary. More important, deeply discussing the actual survey data and examples, the author is intended to probe into the main contents of the PIP for interpreting class based on a comprehensive analysis of Gile Model for interpreter training and Xiada Model. Through introducing this study and proposing some practical ways dealing with the PIP, the author hopes to shed some light on this new profession and bring about more insightful discussions. This paper aims to make students pay more attention to the PIP, in order to enhance abilities of interpreting and do better in interpreting.

摘要: 本文通过问卷调查及课堂观摩,搜集和分析相关数据, 总结学生在课堂口译中容易出现的问题,提出学生在课堂口译前进行译前准备的必要性。文章以吉尔模式及厦大模式为指导,对实际调查所得的数据与实例进行深入探讨,提出相应的译前准备的主要内容和可行方法,旨在使学生重视课堂口译的译前准备并引起社会深刻讨论,使学生做好译前准备,以便提高口译水平,更好地进行口译活动。
