Abstract: Interpreting notes is the memo of interpreters’ memory content and the “prompts” to accurately convey information. Interpreters cannot fully and accurately remember the entire content of the long speech in the interpretation process only by his brain in a short period of time. Anxiety affects the performance of interpreting activities (interpreting notes), and there are very few relevant studies at present. Therefore, this study takes English major students as subjects, doing the research about the relationship between anxiety and features of note-taking (quantity, form, language). The study finds that there is no significant correlation between anxiety and features of note-taking. Based on this study, the suggestions of interpreting teachers are put forward to improve the interpreting output quality and to be better interpreted in interpreting activities.
