Abstract：With the development of globalization, more and more international students from different countries and regions come to China. Cross-cultural adaptability, as one of the hot cross-cultural research topics, has become more and more important.
This thesis conducted a study on the cross-cultural adaptation of African international students in Xuzhou. In the study, 40 African students were chosen as the research subjects, and were investigated by questionnaire survey which involves four aspects: the daily life, learning status, psychological status and interpersonal communication of foreign students. The main findings are as follows: 1) both sociocultural factors and psychological factors have influences on the cross-cultural adaptation of the subjects. 2) International African students do encounter some difficulties and challenges in interpersonal communication. Finally, the research also makes some suggestions on how to improve the cross-cultural adaptability of foreign students, such as enriching amateur cultural life, improving management measures, learning more cultural knowledge of host counties and cross-cultural skills and so on. It can effectively help foreign students to face all kinds of challenges caused by cultural differences.
The first part of this paper introduces the research background, research purpose and significance. The second chapter is a literature review, which provides a theoretical basis for this study. In chapter Three, the process of the study is introduced and the results of the study are reported based on the data collected and analyzed. Chapter four puts forward some suggestions on how to improve the cross-cultural adaptation of foreign students. The fifth chapter is the conclusion.

中文摘要：随着全球化的发展，越来越多不同国家和地区的留学生来华学习。跨文化适应性作为跨文化研究的热门课题之一，成为一个越来越重要的研究领域。
本文以在徐非洲留学生的跨文化适应为研究对象，采取问卷调查的方式，抽取40位在校非洲留学生进行调查。研究主要围绕留学生的日常生活，学习状况，心理状况和人际交往四个方面开展。主要有以下发现：（1）社会文化因素和心理因素都会对调查对象的跨文化适应产生影响；（2）留学生在人际交往方面存在困难。研究最后还就如何提高留学生跨文化适应性提出了一些建议，如：丰富业余文化生活，改进管理措施，了解更多留学国家的文化和跨文化沟通技巧等。这些手段可以有效帮助留学生面对由文化差异导致的各种各样的挑战。
文章的第一部分介绍了本文的研究背景，研究目的和研究意义。第二章是文献综述，为本文的研究提供了理论基础。第三章介绍了研究过程并报告了基于数据分析的研究结果。第四章对提高留学生的跨文化适应提出了建议。第五章是论文的总结。
