摘要:随着现代化进程脚步的不断加快，各地都积极的投入到历史街区的保护中来。本文不仅对国外的历史街区保护情况进行了分析，也对国内的现状展开讨论，更是具体到首都北京的历史街区街巷空间的保护与发展上来。对北京历史街区街巷的空间利用进行了实地的调查研究，并进行分析，得到了要保护必须要采取可持续发展战略的重要结论。最终选取了几个案例进行分析。总之，对北京历史街区街巷空间的保护与发展要结合我国的实际情况，走可持续利用的保护之路。

Abstract:With the accelerating pace of modernization, everywhere positive into the historical block protection. This paper not only to the historical block protection abroad is analyzed, and the present situation of domestic discussions, it is specific to the capital of Beijing street space of historical block protection and development up. In Beijing the historical block street space utilization were field research, and analysis and got to protect must take the sustainable development strategy of important conclusions. Ultimately selected several cases were analyzed. Anyhow, of Beijing street space of historical block protection and development according to the actual conditions of our country and sustainable utilization of protection road.

论文的研究主要针对北京市政府确定的旧城内33片历史文化街区，北京旧城历史街区集中体现了北京的地域特色和文化。历史街区的保护和振兴需要巩固和支持相应的街巷空间活动的支持。一方面，在历史街区中的街巷胡同需要获得发展空间和高品质的物质形态，其获得途径是对历史街区街巷空间资源的合理利用和适度更新。另一方面历史街区街巷功能的无序发展也可能使历史街区的遭到损害。因此研究历史街区街巷空间保护与发展之间的关系具有重要意义。
对于历史街区的保护已经由来已久了，早在20世纪60年代，国际上就已经出现了，而我国也在20世纪80年代开始了对历史街区的保护行动。随着现代化建设的发展，生活水平的提升，科技的不断进步，要如何能保护好历史街区？这一直是政府深入思考的问题。由于政府的高度重视，近些年来，全国各地都积极响应，也涌现出了一批批保护较好的历史街区。但是各地的情况都有所不同，应用起来也要因地制宜。不过归结一点，都是要走可持续利用的保护之路。
具体到城市上，我要对中国的首都北京展开研究，讨论北京现阶段历史街区街巷空间的发展状况及保护。

1．国内外关于城市历史环境保护与街道空间发展的理论及实践综述。
2．北京历史街区街巷空间类型的调查与分析。
3．北京历史街区街巷空间保护与发展模式。
4．北京历史街区街巷空间发展的动力机制。
