摘要：通过发展旅游业来带动经济是西安市经济发展的重要方式之一。本文首先从界定旅游业的含义出发，论述了西安旅游业与区域经济的关联性，为西安旅游业影响经济的分析，选择了正确的研究方法，为旅游形象的塑造和产品的开发提供了理论基础。接下来，本文重点从旅游业的直接效应和间接效应上阐述了西安旅游业对西安以及陕西省经济的影响，特别是以近期在西安举行的国际盛会世园会为例，分析旅游业对国民经济发展的巨大影响。最后，对西安旅游业发展存在的不足提出一些改进意见。

Abstract：To promote the economy through the development of tourism is an important way of economic development in Xi’an. First of all, I starting with an analysis about the Present situation of the tourism resources of history culture in Xi’an city, this thesis profoundly discusses the tourism resources of history culture in Xi’an city from several different aspects，such as，the space structure of quantity, category, scale, the present situation of development and so on. All this analysis can supply a material basis for molding the tourism image of history culture and exploiting the tourism product in Xi’an city. Finally, this thesis demonstrations the impellent effect of the tourism industry to regional economy of Xi'an, and put forward some suggestions against the problems.

旅游业作为第三产业的重点产业，是现代服务业的重要组成部分，对经济结构调整和产业结构转型有着重要的意义。随着我国旅游业的不断发展，其对经济的影响也日益明显。而这种影响具体有多大，旅游收入，旅游创汇，旅游业在GDP中的比例等不是很能从深层次的说明问题，因而需要引入旅游乘数的概念。西安市作为世界四大古都之一，其旅游资源极为丰富。而另一方面，由于西安地处工业制造业都不很发达的西部地区，旅游对经济的乘数效应则相比东部城市更为明显，因而在研究旅游对经济的拉动效应分析时极具代表性。
本文从分析适合西安的旅游研究方法出发，论述了西安旅游业对经济的影响，并根据西安旅游业现存的问题提出合理的建议，以期促进西安旅游业的发展，直接和间接的推动西安的经济增长。
