本文通过实证分析，反映出江苏省三大区域经济发展的差异，并结合差异的原因提出几点相应的对策。在江苏未来的发展道路上，应针对各区域的实际情况，制定相应的发展模式，发挥比较优势。对于苏中和苏北欠发达区域，给予政策倾斜并推动经济市场化进程；打破行政界限，促进区域分工协作；实现产业结构优化升级，提高资源使用效率；重视苏中地区的发展，提高该区的城市化水平，加大城镇辐射力度，实现经济腾飞。在科学发展观的指导和各级政府和人民的共同努力下，区域差异将会得到缩小，各区域将会实现协调发展，建成社会主义和谐社会。
