摘要:招商引资是指政府利用可支配的资源进行政策引导，舆论宣传，开展基础设施建设，创造一流投资环境，吸引投资者到本地区进行生产经营活动。招商引资是经济区发展的产物，属市场经济的范畴。可以说哪里有经济区，哪里就有招商引资活动。招商引资随着经济区发展而发展，同时也推动着经济区的发展。
自西部大开发以来以来，西部经济突飞猛涨，人民的经济水平也越来越好。尤其是近几年，西部地区积极引进外资充分利用国际国内的两个市场两种资源，使西部地区的经济发展速度越来越快，经济结构越来越完善。但是西部地区在招商引资中出现了一些问题。因此只有对西部大开发进程中招商引资问题进行分析，归纳出招商引资的特征，找出存在的问题，认清其发展趋势，才能采取相应的对策措施从根本上解决现存的问题，使西部地区的发展越来越好越来越和谐，促进西部地区的的可持续发展。

ABSTRACT:Investment refers to the government use of available resources policies to guide public opinion and propaganda, to carry out the construction of infrastructure, to create first-class investment environment to attract investors to the region, production and business activities. 本课题不仅涉及到招商引资的众多方面，还要在研究的过程中应用到不同的学科知识，这能够较为全面地培养和锻炼笔者的经济分析能力，在巩固专业知识的基础上初步形成研究问题的能力与习惯，为以后对专业课题的深入研究打下坚实的基础。此外，通过对本课题的研究，能够更加深入地了解西部，拓展知识面。
本文主要对西部大开发进程中的招商引资问题进行分析，主要分为以下几点来分析：首先，对西部大开发进程中招商引资的结构特征进行分析，得出西部大开发进程中招商引资的现状及特征；其次，通过总结，得出西部大开发进程中招商引资存在的问题；最后，针对所发现的问题，结合目前所面临的发展趋势提出可行的建议。
