摘要：目前，中间业务已经成为了中国商业银行除去资产业务、负债业务之外的又一重要支柱业务。加入世界贸易组织后，中国的金融市场自由化程度得到了进一步扩大，外国商业银行逐步加入到中国银行业的内部竞争行列中，导致各家银行在抢夺银行业务份额方面展开了越来越激烈的竞争，此时，新兴的中间业务开始成为各家银行的首要关注焦点以及银行选择竞争的业务对象。然而，中国的商业银行中间业务，由于发展的时间晚于西方国家，在发展过程中，能够开创和发展的各类业务项目受到了很大的限制。本文剖析了当今中国具有代表性地位的十家商业银行的中间业务收入现状、收入结构情况，总结并概括出当前中国商业银行发展中间业务存在的一系列问题及产生问题的因素，并通过借鉴国外商业银行发展中间业务的历史经验及教训，总结与归纳出，有利于推进中间业务健康、有序、平稳地发展的有效策略。
