摘要：中国高尔夫运动是伴随着中国30年来的改革开放和经济发展起来的。随着现代社会的高速发展，经济水平的提高，参与高尔夫的人口也是逐年增加，从而使高尔夫运动在中国有了一定了基础，随着人们对高尔夫越来越多的了解，高尔夫在逐渐的被人们所接受。基于这个社会背景，以玉溪市红塔区的高尔夫运动在群众中的发展为研究对象，通过文献资料法、实地考察法、访谈法、问卷调查法对玉溪市红塔区群众对高尔夫运动的开展情况相关进行研究。从而了解高尔夫运动在玉溪市红塔区开展现状及开展过程中所遇到的困难和问题，并对这些问题进行研究分析。其调查结果显示：玉溪市红塔区抽查群众大部分对于高尔夫运动的认识不够，现处在认知不足的状态。而群众真正关心的高尔夫费用也未能得到很好的体现，参与人数少，男女差异较大。因此建议相关部门，能对高尔夫运动进行推进和整改，进一步加大高尔夫运动的宣传力度，促使这项运动在群众中得以发展。
