摘要：本文主要对柯西不等式进行研究。我们首先给出了柯西不等式的几种常见的证明方法,并进一步地去研究了柯西不等式的几种特殊的推广形式, 而且通过列举一系列实例揭示柯西不等式在代数、几何、求最值、推导公式以及在矩阵形式中的广泛应用。

Abstract:In this paper we are concerned with the Cauchy inequality. We will give some proofs about the Cauchy inequality by different methods, then we study several special extension forms of the Cauchy inequalities. Furthermore, by a series of examples, we will explore the wide applications of the Cauchy inequality in the fields such as algebra, geometry, the most value, formula, and in the form of a matrix.

柯西是法国数学家, 1789年8月21日出生于巴黎, 他对数论、代数、数学分析和微分方程等多个数学领域进行了深入的研究, 并获得了许多重要成果, 著名的柯西不等式就是其中之一。柯西不等式是数学中的重要不等式, 在求解某些最值、不等式和几何问题等方面有广泛的应用，本论文主要给出了有关柯西不等式的几种不同证明方法、推广及其应用。
