内容摘要： 苏童是个男作家，不擅长写男人，却擅长写女人。他作品中的女性形象历来受到极大关注。很多人注意到男权文化和封建文化对女性的影响，不少人也注意到女性自身的问题。我在本课题中将以《妻妾成群》、《红粉》为例，从还原女性形象世界、苏童为何写女性以及苏童女性形象的意义等几个方面进行分析。

苏童成长于苏州市井人家，自然而然地把关注的目光投放到了都市“小人物”身上，他写出小人物的生活状态，他们的欲望，他们的喜怒哀乐，他们的悲欢离合。《妻妾成群》中的颂莲，《红粉》中的秋仪与小萼，都是其刻画的主要人物形象。苏童对女性的探索有其独特的一面，他笔下的女性有强烈的依附意识，也有严重的自戕意识。这些女性虽然有其自身的人性弱点和难以改变的生存困境，但同时她们也缺乏反抗意识，个人不争取，一味的依靠男人，这势必会造成她们的悲剧命运。苏童从一定程度上揭示了女性的真实，向我们展示了一个极度可悲的女性生存世界。下面主要从这几个方面对苏童小说的女性形象进行论述。
