[摘要] 文件生命周期理论是文件管理理论的核心部分，也是西方现代档案学的重要组成部分。该理论产生70余年来，得到中外档案界深入的研究和探讨，尤其是近30年来围绕文件生命周期理论研究的学术成果日趋增多。研究者们对于文件生命周期理论的探讨主要是从文件生命周期理论的再认识，文件生命周期理论在中国的适用之争，对文件生命周期理论若干问题的思考等方面展开的，然前人对于文件生命周期理论的研究是不够深入的。本文立足于文件生命周期理论中的产生背景、基本内容、文件生命周期理论的理论价值和意义以及文件生命周期理论适用于中国等方面进行研究，以促进文件生命周期理论研究的深入开展。

[Abstract] Theory of Documental Life Circle is the core of Documentation Management, also the important element of modern western Archives Science. Since this theory come up for 70 years, it has been comprehensively researched and studied. The Academic Achievements increased a lot especially for the recent 30 years. Research on Theory of Documentation Life Circle mainly includes the re-reorganization on itself, discussion on the appropriation for implement in China, and some queries etc. However, studies by previous scholars are not comprehensive enough.The article is written based on the background, content, theoretical value and if it is applicable in China, etc. It aims to simulate the comprehensive studies to the Theory of Documentation Life Circle.
