摘要：相对于易受重视的长篇小说而言，叶兆言的短篇小说更能显示他的人文关怀。其诸多短篇小说均流露出对小人物生存困境的思考。通过其变化多端的叙事，我们可以剥离出一连串小人物所具有的共同的心理感受，即无可避免的缺失感，劳心竭力寻找的意识，以及尘埃落定后的怀旧情绪。这三种心理共同构建了叶兆言短篇小说中普通人低沉、迷茫、困惑、无奈的心灵世界。

Abstract: Relative importance of the novel in terms of vulnerability, Ye Zhaoyan short stories can show his humane care. Showing its many short stories are thinking of little survival predicament. Through its varied narrative, we can strip out a series of common psychological feeling has little, that inevitable sense of loss, Auntie struggling to find a sense of nostalgia, and after the dust settles. These three psychological work together to build a low ,confused and helpless spiritual word of ordinary people in Ye Zhaoyan short stories.

近年来颇受关注的江苏作家叶兆言，以鲜有的写作耐力而闻名。80年代他因在《钟山》上发表的中篇小说《悬挂的绿苹果》而崭露头角，90年代他的“夜泊秦淮”系列和“挽歌”系列小说，更因其所体现出的浓郁的地域气息和深邃的文化内涵，引起了学者浓厚的研究兴趣。进入21世纪后，关于重述神话的《后羿》及婚外恋情的《苏珊的微笑》再度引起热议。而他的短篇小说也不乏佳作，如引人深思的《儿歌》，反映家长里短的《榆树下的哭泣》等等。这一切似乎都印证了叶兆言被贴的标签：高产作家、先锋派代表、古典型作家。为此，笔者特地收集了大量关于叶兆言作品的研究资料，并认真地进行整理归纳，以期对其做一个简单的综述。
