Abstract: This study concerns with non-English major students，to research and analyze the main English learning motivations of them and their preference of the motivations as well as taking their English level into account to explore the linkage between motivations and their English level. The research uses the English Learning Motivation questionnaire of Gao Yihong. This study is intended to know the English learning motivation of non-English majors. It will also have decisive importance on studying foreign language teaching and related applied linguistic.

摘要：本研究以大学非英语专业学生为调查对象，调查分析非英语专业学生英语学习的主要动机和动机偏向类型,并结合调查对象的英语水平探讨动机因素与其英语水平之间的联系，旨在了解非英语专业学生英语学习动机，对研究外语教学及相关应用语言研究也具有一定的积极意义。
