Abstract：Group work is a theoretic and strategic approach applied by many countries in the world in the past three decades. In traditional teaching, teachers often do not attach much importance to English writing in our school education. As a result, many serious problems exist in the current teaching of English writing .This essay is mainly talking about inefficient situations of English teaching during high school, with theories of group studies home and abroad. This thesis does research on basic connotations and advantages of group study, its concrete application in high school English writing.

中文摘要：合作学习是目前世界上许多国家都普遍采用的一种富有创意和实效的教学理论与策略体系。在传统教学中，教师对写作教学重视不够，所以在目前的中学英语教学中存在诸多问题。本文针对目前高中英语写作教学中效率不高的现状，结合国内外合作学习的理论，就合作学习的基本内涵及其优势、合作学习在高中英语写作教学中的具体应用进行了探讨。
