Abstract
With the constant development of the society, teachers’ role changes dramatically. At the same time, it’s common understanding for many teachers in middle school to develop student’s innovation consciousness and practice ability. Many people search for related ways to improve teaching efficiency, so the change of teacher’s role is becoming more and more important. Students become the master of the class, which can improve the students’ interests in learning and the learning efficiency. Due to various psychological characteristics of students, teachers should give guidance to students constantly. In this thesis, teachers’ role is defined and described. Besides, from all aspects of teaching, teachers can find out their roles in English teaching correctly.
