摘要:定向运动(Orienteering)是利用一张详细精确的地图和一个指北针按规定顺序独立寻找若干个标绘在地图上的地面检查点,并以最短实际跑完全赛程为胜的体育运动项目。定向运动这一项目以其健身性、大众性、竞技性、娱乐性、惊险刺激性而独具魅力，它不仅能强健体魄，娱乐身心，而且更能锻炼果断、意志力、独立思考和独立解决问题能力等，是一项有利于健康的体力智慧并重的体育项目。随着素质教育的实施，定向运动走进学校，致力于全面提高学生的综合素质和生存适应能力已成为必然，这既是体育教育事业发展的与时俱进，也是教育以学生为本教育思想的具体体现。定向运动具有独特的趣味性和知识性，可以丰富大学生的课余生活。本研究在查阅大量资料，通过问卷调查，数理统计法，逻辑分析法等研究方法，以XX学院的学生为研究对象，对XX学院的定向运动的开展现状进行调查分析，探析存在的问题并提出一些对策。研究结果表明：
1.XX学院的定向运动由于校园优越的自然环境条件及领导支持发展非常迅速，短短几年就在学校大型赛事中占有一定地位，并且还成功举办了几届校园定向大赛，组织学生参加省级以上的定向赛事并取得好成绩。
2.定向运动在XX学院开展形式主要有俱乐部教学、体育学生的专业课程、社团活动等来进行开展。
3.虽然定向运动引入XX学院比较晚，但因为很多学生都是在大学才接触到此项运动所以参与的态度端正，兴趣浓厚都希望能学到一定的技能和知识增长才干。

ABSTRACT: Orienteering is a sport events that use a more precise map and a compass to find the required number of independent order plotted on a map of the ground check points, and for the shortest practical run full schedule of sports programs for the win. The project Orienteering its fitness, popular, competitive, entertaining, provocative and charming adventure, it can not only physical fitness, entertainment, but also it can exercise decisive, willpower, independent thinking and independent problem-solving ability. It is benefits to health and physical wisdom. With the implementation of quality education, orienteering come into school and committed to improve the quality of students and viability has become inevitable, this is not only development of physical education, but also it reflect student-centered educational ideas. Orienteering has a unique interesting and knowledge, it can enrich the after school lives of College students.In this study, based on inquiries great amounts of information, through questionnaires, statistics, logical analysis and other research methods, to Honghe University students as the research object, the current situation Orienteering of Honghe University of surveys and analysis, and for problems we put forward some strategies. The results show that:
1. The rapid development of Orienteering in Honghe University because of excellent natural environment and support of leads, just a few years, Orienteering has occupied a certain position in major competition, and has hold large-scale Orienteering game, and organized students participate in Orientation of the provincial competition and achieved excellent results.
2. Carried out Orienteering in Honghe University include club, physical students courses and community activities.
3. Although Orienteering come into Honghe University rather late, but most of students are the first time to contact Orienteering, so all of them have right attitude, have a lot of interest and they expect get a lot of knowledge and skills in order to enhance their abilities.
