The professional skills of students of the primary school education is an important part of the composition of their teachers' professional quality. The level of development of professional skills would directly affect the actual performance of primary education students since engaged in education and teaching. The professional skills development of the primary education students of Honghe University will be this article’s example. Through analyzing the status of the professional skills development of the primary education students, find the prominent issue existed in teaching practice, supervision and management of professional skills training and students' initiative of extra-curricular training etc. Then, put forward several suggestions to the optimization of the professional skills development process, improving the management measures of educational practice and attaching importance to students' professional skills training content and target, in order to promoting development of the professional skills the students of the primary school teachers.
