Abstract: Translator’s subjectivity mainly focuses on the translator’s subjective initiative, which contains the intentionality, independence and creativity. According to the translator’s subjectivity theory, this paper is going to do a research on the translator’s subjectivity in the process of translation by the analysis of Yang Yi’s Chinese translation of Wuthering Heights; we can achieve the aim by analyzing the translation strategies adopted by the translator. After the research, we can find that translator’s subjectivity exists in every part of the translation and the translator would adopt translator’s subjectivity to make sure her translation can tell her own understanding and felling.
