Abstract: As a wonderful flower in the postwar literature, the well-known British writer Doris Lessing plays an important part in the field of British literature. This article aims to interpret The Golden Notebook from the point of Eco-feminism to help readers thoroughly understand Eco-feminist thoughts in that literary period. The article falls into five parts, which first introduces Doris Lessing and The Golden Notebook, defines Eco-feminism and Doris Lessing’s Eco-feminist thoughts. At the same time the article also analyses the deteriorating nature, the relationship between women and nature, which explores the significant truth that human beings should live harmoniously with nature to create a wonderful world.
