摘要:信息爆炸的今天，报纸单纯依靠文字打天下的格局如今早已过时，报纸版面设计的重要作用日趋凸显，如何在竞争激烈的同类媒体和不同质媒体之间争取更加广阔的生存空间，是现今大多数报纸面临的直接挑战。报纸要契合大众的接受心理，赢得受众，在一定程度上不仅取决于报纸内在的思想性，而且还取决于优秀的报纸版面设计。在信息越来越纷繁的现代社会，抓住受众的注意力就相应地抓住了报纸生存的命脉。《春城晚报》是云南乃至西南地区都比较著名的都市类报纸，在报纸版面的设计和编排方面都极具代表性，很多特点都值得研究和借鉴，本文力图通过对该报纸版面的分析总结出报纸版面设计的特点，并结合实例分析报纸版面设计中应该避免的一些做法。

面对冲击，报纸并不是束手无策的，很多报纸也及时推出了全新的改革措施，以新的姿态来不断适应多元化的读者需求。报纸版面有着能够不断提升读者满意度进而最终获取读者忠诚度的视觉传播综合能力，它属于报纸整体竞争力的一部分，加强报纸版面的编排直接有利于报纸的市场竞争，例如《广州日报》头版设置很好的借鉴了互联网页面设计的规则，以浏览的方式把最精彩的内容线索呈现在头版，丰富了报纸核心价值呈现的机会，受到了业界的普遍好评。还有一个比较突出的现象就是很多报纸都与互联网平台开始合作，推出了网上电子版报纸。
我们可以肯定的是，报纸在一段时期以内并不会消失，媒介的大融合必将成为最大的发展趋势。受众在电视、广播以及其他新媒体的冲击下必然会对读报习惯和方式产生重要的影响，在信息爆炸和媒介发达的今天，报纸应该怎么利用版面设计来抓住读者是值得一个大都家深思的问题。
